The investment in this part of our infrastructure is greater now than at any time in the last 100 years. Much of the expenditure is in upgrading existing facilities and replacing ironwork removed in the two great wars of the last century. On the grounds that a picture is better than a thousand words, here is a range of projects in which we have been involved with a brief description of how we handled them.
