Case Studies - Bridges

Over the last 20 years we have gained a reputation as the UK’s primary, specialist contractor for restoration and new-build cast iron bridges.

Our experience ranges from large civil contracts like Westminster Bridge and Abbey Bridge, to smaller restoration works like Tournament Bridge. In fact our range covers everything from rail bridges and inner city footbridges to heavily congested road bridges and highly specialist Victorian restoration. Not all bridges are large, however, and we are occasionally asked to do small ornamental bridges over streams in private gardens.

For every project we offer the same service providing original surveys, consultancy, design expertise, specialist metal knowledge, complete casting supply and eventual site erection. All projects are completely project managed in house from initial drawings through to paint specifications. We supply and produce complete method statements and risk assessments for every job. For this reason we feel we are uniquely placed to offer the most comprehensive service in the UK for restoration and repair work on bridges incorporating cast iron.
