We have a large patternshop, with 8 patternmakers on site, who deal with everything from restoration work and private contracts through to large civil projects.

Over the last 200 years we have developed our range of skills and have enforced extremely high quality standards throughout. High quality patterns are essentially the foundation for seamless production and it is something that we take great pride in.

We have over 250,000 patterns already at our disposal but are constantly adding to this through new projects and designs. Anything from two and a half tonne cannon to half kilo ornamental heads; 700 tonne gates and railings round palace complexes to spiral stairs in an attic - all these come within our remit. We have even built entire bridges solely from old photographs (please follow the link at the side of the page.)
