The foundry operates two 3 tonne induction furnaces capable of melting 24 tonnes of iron per day.

We operate to British Standard BSENISO9001/2008 and therefore analyse all melts to make sure that the iron provided is of the exact specification for the job in hand. The main grades that we operate to are Cast Iron Grade 200, 220 and 250, Ductile Iron Grade 420/10, 500/7 and 400/18 in addition to being able to make castings from aluminium and bronze. We carry out all chemical analysis of metal testing in house and have a metallurgist on site at all times.

We operate the strictest Quality control to ensure that every casting we supply is of the highest quality possible.
